Janetsy lives in the rural community of Miravalle, 11 km from the center of San Juan del Sur, with her mother and father. Her father is dedicated to agriculture, planting rice, beans, cassava, corn and bananas; her mother is dedicated to household chores. The income of the home is obtained from the rent of a taxi, the family food is produced by the father. The low income has prevented Janetsy from starting her higher studies; she graduated from high school in 2019.
She finished her last year of high school with an average of 92%, which shows that she is a hard-working young woman in her studies; her favorite classes are: Language and Literature, Coexistence and Civics.
Janetsy wants to study nursing at the Central University of Nicaragua in the city of Jinotepe, Carazo. Janetsy comes from and has grown up in a rural community with many limitations, among these is the lack of health professionals, a situation that has motivated her to study this career.
Janetsy is characterized by being humble, with deep-rooted Christian values and principles, kind, and intelligent. She has the confidence and enthusiasm to enter a nursing career. Janetsy is concerned that young people in her community are not interested in studying or continuing their higher studies, for this reason she would like to contribute in promoting activities that stimulate and motivate young people to study and understand the importance of this for personal, family and community development.
Janetsy's main goal is to get into college to begin her higher education and become a professional nurse.
