Fourth scholarship students meeting.

Regular meetings of the Fundación A. Jean Brugger scholarship students are held to promote good communication among the students and staff. The latest meeting was held Sunday September 9 at the Fundación offices.
This meeting was particularly important because many of the universities have been closed and there were a lot of pressing issues to discuss about the situation with the universities and the possibility of classes resuming.
Also discussed were the Special Programs, developed to fill this time of university closures, including the English classes in progress and the possibility of computer clases initiating in October and a personal finance seminar taught by a well-known expert in January.
Program Director Alvaro Novoa discussed the progress of the students’ community service projects, reminding the students that this is still a requirement even though the universities are closed.
20 students attended, and at the end they all joined in wishing a happy birthday to those students celebrating a birthday in the month of August and September.
