This Tuesday, November 7, 2017, our senior citizens enjoyed a special day at one of the Ancianos luncheons held regularly by Fundación A. Jean Brugger. In this event the elders danced, sang, and won prizes in the different contests that took place. This event was made posible by the sponsorship of Sandra Sheil, Randy Hale and his family, and members of the Cannonball-American Airlines group.
This group has been coming to San Juan del Sur for more than 12 years, and attending an Ancianos luncheon is always one of the highlights of their visit. Fundación A. Jean Brugger also wishes to thank the owners of El Timón Restaurant and its Staff, who offered a warm welcome and gave special attention to the elderly participants, who felt very well received and cared for.
They also enjoyed the surprise dance by the waiters and chef. We thank Discover Real Estate and Hotel and Restaurant Barrio Café for sponsoring the prizes for the competitions, which consisted of baskets full of food, and supplies for cleaning and personal hygiene.
Thank you very much to our scholarship students and graduates who supported the event with products for the baskets and by volunteering: Ana Odalys Sánchez, Tania Pereira, Ingrid Obando, Lisbeth Guzman, Sharling Sandino, Denisse Tenorio and Cristhel Mendoza.
